Thank you for your interest in Manhattan Virtual Academy.  

Enrollment is currently closed for the 2025-2026 school year.

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will open March 4, 2026. 

Good News! Full time MVA students can now participate in KSHSAA sanctioned activities in their local school district. Refer to KSHSAA policies.

Students from across the state of Kansas may apply to MVA.

Enrollment guidelines for new and returning students:   

  • Families must submit a completed MVA enrollment application with required documentation.   
  • Grades 6-9:  Review of education records. 
  • Grades 10-12: Review of education records and incoming credits. (Credit Requirements: Incoming 10th graders must have a  minimum of 5 credits, 11th graders a minimum of 11 credits and 12th graders a minimum of 17 credits)  
  • Student must be in good academic standing   
  • Student must have positive attendance records   
  • Attend an online orientation prior to beginning of school (new students and parent(s).   
  • MVA will not enroll students currently suspended or expelled from school.  

Enrollment Steps for NEW students:

  1. Watch the MVA Information video.

       2.  Complete the Interest Form.

       3. Watch for an email to schedule your enrollment phone consultation. 

       4. If MVA is determined as an appropriate educational setting for your student, you will
          receive an email with the OLR (Online Registration) link.

  1. The $85 materials/resources fee will be due on or before August 1st, which can be paid through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by calling the MVA office.

    Enrollment Steps for RETURNING students:

  1. Complete the Online Registration (OLR): Registration LINK (click on “More” and “Online Registration”)
  2. Watch for your approval for re-enrollment email.
  3. Complete course selection with our counselor, Ms. Simkins. (look for an email with her Calendly link after the OLR has been completed). 
  4. The $85 materials/resources fee will be due on or before August 1st, which can be paid through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by calling the MVA office.
