Since MVA is using the My Intent project for our character development program this year, let’s look at what the words means. Intention:  the act or fact of intending : purpose : the state of mind with which an act is done : a usually clearly formulated or planned intention.  What a great word to start the year off! Teacher’s intent for instruction is to provide the best possible learning opportunities for their students. Student’s intent is to use what they learn to further their goals for the future. Parent’s intent is to provide the best learning environment for their child’s success. And MVA’s overall intent is to prepare our students to be lifelong learners and leaders.

We can’t wait to begin this next school year. We will do our best to live up to our intentions, and we hope that you are as excited and intentional as we are!
