It’s the last week of July, that means that the beginning of the 2017-18 school year is fast approaching. This year we’re not going to ask you,  “What did you do this summer?” (well, we probably will ask that too!), instead we’re going to ask you questions like, “If you could run your own country, what would it be like?”

That’s a question from the MyIntent Project. We are using the project as part of our character development program at Manhattan Virtual Academy. The questions from MyIntent help our students focus on their goals, explore what they want for their future, and discover what character skills they will need for their future success. More than anything we want our students to see the possibilities for positive change they can bring for themselves, their communities and the world around them.

We can’t wait to “see” you in August!
