My passion for helping comes alive as I have the privilege of traveling education journeys with the Students and Families at MVA!  My own education has taken me through three degrees from K-State: B.S. in Family and Consumer Science, M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, and  M.S. in School Counseling, with classes from Kansas State University, Fort Hays State University, Emporia State University, and Kansas University.  I love education and continuous learning!

I discovered virtual education after a full career in the traditional education setting, and it is clear to me that this is where my heart belongs.  Here I have the opportunity to best meet individual student needs and goals, travel with the student and his or her family, and revel in ongoing one-on-one conversations, personal connections and family relationships.  Your journey is also my own as together we search and work and explore to find the absolute best pathway to your future successes.  Our world is “a-changing”, and the amazing team of MVA educators are working with awe, enthusiasm, and expertise to lead the way.

When I take a break, I am outside enjoying the Flint Hills of Kansas, keeping up with all kinds of sports and activities, or helping on our ranch.  I also love gardening, cooking, and the smells of rain and a clean home.  Lee, my husband, owns and manages our Lazy Flying S Ranch where we raise cattle, hay, hunting opportunities, and children.  We have two daughters: Cassie (Family Physician) and Seth (School Counselor), Callie (Special Education Teacher); and five grandchildren:  Colby (5), Connor (4), Cait (3), Creighton (2) and Chloe (5 weeks).  Lee and I are very fortunate to together have very full and joyful life both personally and professionally.

Thank you for choosing us – I will treasure our education journey together!
